      Two weeks into the NFL season and already football here in NY is on life support. The Giants stink, the Jets stink and just to complete the NY trifecta, the Buffalo Bills stink. That's no wins, six losses and a whole lot o' suck.

      As for the Bills, in light of what happened with Kevin Everett, they get somewhat of a free pass. But where on earth is their offense? They've scored 17 points so far and can't throw the ball worth a lick. So much was written in the offseason about JP Losman finally...

    • Strahan, Why So Sad?

      It's Aug. 29 — the NFL season kickoff is right around the corner, and Michael Strahan still hasn't decided whether to report to the Giants. NY Daily News is reporting that Strahan is still taking "the next day or two" to sort out what he wants to do regarding the season. This is just one of those situations where fan perspective and player perspective are worlds apart.

      Fans of the NFL can understand why veteran players will sometimes choose to pull a holdout maneuver during training camp. No human...

      Don't look now, but the Angels are absolutely on fire and look to safely cruise into the post-season.

      They are up by three games on a Mariners team that is seemingly incapable of catching the bats and arms of the California team. So just go ahead and kill me now, because I don't think I can stomach to see another World Series with Angels fans anywhere remotely near the game.
