The Sports Randomizer

-The NFL has changed its logo for the first time in almost 30 years. They presumably spent a lot of money on this, so it's a good thing they got their money's worth.

-First dodgeball, now tag. A Colorado elementary school has banned the game of tag on its playground, because children were "chased against their will." This prepares kids well for the real world, where we all know nothing happens against someone's will.

-Cincinnati Bengals' Frostee Rucker has been suspended for one game. I wonder what the over-under in Vegas is on number of weeks until the next Bengal is suspended ...

-T.O. gets asked 10 questions by Time readers. In typical sports fashion, he is asked to beat a long-dead horse and talk about McNabb. When asked which QB he would most like to have, he names someone other than his own QB ... again. Way to learn from history, T.O.

-Everyone knows about Terry Francona's visit from the fashion police mid-game by now. Maybe those police should have hit up Manny instead.

-Robert Watson, the Pee-Wee League coach responsible for beating up a ref, has been convicted of misdemeanor assault — possibly facing a year in jail and a $40,000 fine. As often as coaches and parents pull this kind of idiotic stunt, it's a wonder kids haven't written off sports entirely.
